French Girl Winter Capsule Wardrobe

It happened again. What started as a humble attempt to simplify my winter wardrobe à la French Girl quickly turned into one gorgeous (and extensive) wishlist.

However, what I love about the concept of a capsule wardrobe is that most everything pairs beautifully together, creating ample outfit options! So, as tempted as you may be to overindulge with new items this season, perhaps pick out just a few items and challenge yourself to style them in as many different ways as possible. Hint: you can refer to this post for some ideas!

I love the versatility of items like an oversized wool blazer, a great pair of medium-wash denim, or these classic & cool loafers I just snagged for myself. If you live in a similar climate to mine, you’ll benefit from the power of layering—which, IMO, always makes an outfit more interesting. Take a look at my list below to identify some holes in your closet, or rediscover some items that it’s time to give some new life!
