English Village in the Fall (On Film)

Told you I had an aggressive amount of film from this fall! To no one’s surprise, one of my favorite corners of Birmingham deserved its own spot on the blog: English Village.

One of the most picturesque + European-inspired areas in the city has been my favorite spot to wander with my camera (and my plus 1) for years. You can often catch me underneath the awning of co-owned Continental Bakery/Chez Lulu, enjoying a bagel & latte while people-watching. Or perhaps enjoying a martini over at Vino, window shopping at Le Weekend, or snapping photos at Jeffrey Dungan (one of my favorite examples of stunning architecture in the city). Fun fact: Peyton and I actually got engaged outside of Continental Bakery on a sunny Saturday in 2019, with our families waiting for us inside of Chez Lulu to celebrate with a champagne toast!
