Fall 2023 Wardrobe Essentials
Fall fashion is my Super Bowl. Truly, the moment the temps dip below 90 degrees, I’m running to the storage unit to dust off my boot collection and filling up my shopping cart with sweaters and all the tweed things. The same is true (I assume) for all aspiring Pinterest girls out there, who have been gathering inspo all year preparing for this moment. Be it weddings, football games, trips to the local pumpkin patch, mountain weekends, or simply going back into the office, every day is an opportunity to put the best of your year’s wardrobe to work.
In my opinion, fall is when your “investment pieces” truly earn their keep. I find myself recycling more and more classic pieces from autumns past than from any other season, and as such, have developed a pretty good sense for what makes up a true capsule wardrobe that’ll last you longer than just one cycle. (While, of course, leaving room to indulge in a trendy piece or two!)
This season, I’m ready to recycle some old favorites, like my trench coat, collection of oversized sweaters and blazers, while layering in some fun new dresses for work, maybe scooping up a fun new bag, and finding that perfect statement metallic piece.
